Headwave provides a separately licensable Software Development Kit (SDK), which provides in-house G&G researchers and developers the tools to develop & expose proprietary algorithms to run within the Headwave software.
Key Features
-
Well documented API for creating proprietary plug-ins (algorithms/filters) for use within the Headwave application on Windows and/or Linux.
-
Algorithms/filters implemented using the SDK automatically take advantage of
 |
Headwave's interactive performance and flexible multi-dimensional data access model, voxel-based with or without a margin window, full trace-based, slice-based, or segmentation-based computations. For example, filters can access and output multi-dimensional data, e.g. pre-stack or post-stack attribute and/or geometric operations with/without changes in dimensionality, prestack data in and outputting prestack data, and/or do dimension reduction (e.g. stacking) or increase (e.g. spectral decomposition), volumetric and/or statistical computation and more.
|
 |
CUDA-enabled computation using Headwave/Hue technologies that take full advantage of Nvidia GPUs (Geforce/Quadro/Tesla), without having to write CUDA code yourself.
|
-
Data management and graphic user interface for parameterize your plugin are automatically generated for us, with option for custom GUI if you choose to do so
-
Your proprietary algorithms/filters can be graphically chained/used in conjunction with our various computational plugins within the Headwave Job Flow building capabilities
Benefits
-
Achieve significant acceleration of your company's proprietary algorithms, resulting in higher productivity
-
Shortens the learning curve for taking advantage of the GPU
-
Fast plug-in development as all I/O, memory management, visualization functionality already is provided by the application framework.
